We are delighted to offer a series of original props used in the making of the Drive Home music video for Steven Wilson.

Charles & Lucy Head Images: Each scene requires a different head angle so we make many different heads to cover all the views. Drive Home is quite a unique video in that the character of Charles appears as both a 3D traditional 'stop-motion' puppet in some of the key scenes and elsewhere, along with Lucy, as a 2D cut-out puppet animated using a 'multi-plane' technique.

Lucy's Pendant: The pendant falling through the water to rest on the lake bed, is the opening scene to the Drive Home music video. The pendant is worn by Lucy when she is in the car with Charles prior to the tragic accident when Charles is blinded by oncoming headlights in his eyes. There is ambiguity around how Lucy's pendant ended up at the bottom of the lake and that remains a mystery.

Lucy Puppet 'Ghost : (#01) Charles wakes up and Lucy appears as an apparition to Charles as he lays in bed. She has her back to him and is staring towards the window. (#02) The apparition of Lucy is sitting on the bed with Charles and she turns sideways to take her hairbrush off the bedside table. She is then facing Charles as she brushes her hair.

Original 3D Lucy Pendant: The opening sequence of the 'Drive Home' music video is an underwater view of a pendant and chain falling into the water. There is also a broken moving shadow above the surface which disaapears after the pendant enters the water. We later establish that this shadow is Charles.
This item is the original 3D chain and pendant belonging to Lucy and as used in the Drive Home video.

Construction : Newspaper print on card with hand-drawn details, watercolour painted and a clear lacquer finish.  The arm joints are hinged using a fine brass wire (Lucy Puppet 'Ghost only)
